Robin Williams was a legendary actor. He was an actor, comedian, film producer, and screenwriter. Robin Williams was born on July 21, 1051 in Chicago, Illinois. He has lived in Illinois, Michigan and California. When he was in High School in California, he was voted “Most Likely Not To Succeed” and “Funniest” by his classmates. His career pretty much started when he was in college and his acting teacher told him that he had nothing to teach him anymore, so he needs to let him go because he was that good. Later, Robin achieved a full scholarship to the Juilliard School in New York City.

His first television show was Mork and Mindy, and then he moved into the leading roles in the Popeye. He was in multiple unforgettable film roles, comedy and drama. He won five Golden Globe Awards, and after being nominated four times, he finally won an Academy Award for his role in Good Will Hunting.

Robin Williams was inspiration to a lot of people. He made people laugh hysterically one minute and cry the next, sometimes in the same movie. He was a high energy actor. His most popular movies of all time are: Dead Poets Society, Aladdin, Good Will Hunting, Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning, Vietnam, and many more. Many people looked up to him because he was the best at comedy and drama.

My childhood was filled with laughter because of Robin Williams. Mrs. Doubtfire was my favorite. I used to watch it with my family, and he was one of our favorite actors. I watched Dead Poets Society in my English class last year, and I also watched Good Will Hunting in my Psychology AP class. He wasn’t just in comedy movies. He was trying to teach someone something with each and every role he had as an actor in every movie. He was inspiring.

He made everyone laugh, especially his family. He had three children: Zak, Zelda, and Cody. On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams died. He left behind his three children, his wife, and an outrageous amount of fans that he inspired everyday. We will always be sad when we think of him, but the most important thing that mattered was how he filled his life and what he accomplished along the way. He will never be forgotten.
