East Leyden Art Show

On December 11 and 12, East Leyden’s annual Winter Art Show will be held in the Little Theater from 7:30am to 2:30pm.

Every year the Art Department holds their very own art show to showcase the best work by students. With a variety of pieces from ceramic to drawing, there are great pieces for everyone to enjoy

The Little Theater will be set up like an art gallery with different pieces of artwork including some pieces from East Leyden’s partner middle schools including Hester, Lincoln, and Rosemont.

The works will be from the drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, ceramics, advanced art, AP art and art survey classes.

The pieces being shown are chosen by art teachers based on the hard work that the student put into their work. Also, depending on the class, the student is able to choose their favorite piece to put into the show.

With an Artist Reception Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, visitors can also stop by the art show after school.
