Children’s Day at Leyden
Thursday, April 24 was national Take Your Son or Daughter to Work day. Unfortunately on that day underclassmen were taking the PSAEs at East Leyden therefore there was no opportunity for East Leyden’s faculty to bring their children to school that day.
So staff brought their children to school the following day and the children were able to participate in the daily work lives of their parents. Many children helped their parents in the classrooms by handing out papers and handing out stickers to those who did their work.
These are a few of the children that we spotted roaming the hallways and within various classrooms.
