Leyden Volleyball Seeking Support

Leyden+Volleyball+Seeking+Support

Bump set spike! Get ready Leyden because the girls volleyball season has arrived and from what we have heard they have great chemistry. Captain Andrea Horvath spoke saying, “ We have a lot of chemistry as a team and there is a lot of talent this year.” One of the many reasons to go watch the games. So far the girls are on a record of 3-7 but are looking to improve. New varsity player Bea Verin spoke about this saying  “ We’ve had a rough start but everyday we get better playing our hearts out, were working together slow and steady.” With this hope, the girls are working harder each and everyday to improve not only as players, but as a team as well.  And the Leyden Community can most definitely help. The girls are looking for more support at the games to get the crowd going along with giving them a push to work even harder. So will you be attending these next upcoming games? Here’s a few you might not want to miss! They have a IMSA tournament on Saturday September 30th at 8 am and a Elgin Invite located at Dundee Crown at 8 am along with a home game on October 3rd at 5:30 pm  in the East Leyden field house. So get your friends together and come out and support the Leyden Girls Volleyball team this season and show your #leydenpride!
