On Saturday, September 29th, while everyone was getting ready for Homecoming, the boys cross country team was competing at the Niles West Invite. The Niles West Invite is one of the biggest races that Leyden attends. The Eagles placed seventh out of twenty teams in the white division. The Eagles were lead by senior Nick Avila placing 13th, and senior Rocco DiMatteo placing 22nd as individuals. The boy’s next meet is on Thursday, October 4th, at Elmwood Park High school.
