Girls Run Strong at Elmwood Park

The girls cross country team ran strong and stayed together as a pack at their meet on Thursday, October 4th against Elmwood Park.

The girls JV team took first at the meet. The girls varsity took 5th overall with senior Danyle Segura placing sixth and junior Aleksandra Kijowska placing eighth as individuals.

The girls are in the running to win conference this year. They are four and two in conference with a close loss to Willowbrook.

The conference meet is this Saturday, October 13th at Center Point Park.

The girls’ top runners, Segura and Kijowska are looking to place in the top 16.
