The JV and varsity cheerleading squads will be hosting their first Leyden Little Eagle cheer clinic on Saturday, February 3rd and will perform on Tuesday, February 5th.

The cheerleaders will teach the children a half-time routine along with three side cheers.

The children will be split into two groups according to age,children ages 4-6 will start at 9:00am to 11:00 am and children 7-12 will start at 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Children ages 4-6 will be welcome to cheer with JV at the sophomore boys basketball game at East at 5:30 pm. Children ages 7-12 are welcome to cheer with the Varsity squad at the Boys basketball varsity game at 7:00 pm.

The clinic is open to children ages 4-12 and will cost $30 per child or $50 for two and will cover a t-shirt and a ribbon to be worn on the day of the basketball game.

The Leydenettes dance team will also be hosting a Lil’ Leydenette Clinic on Friday February 8th from 4:30pm-7:30pm that will be open to grades 3-8th.

The children will learn techniques and a dance routine in the dance studio and will perform later that day at half time for the Varsity boys basketball game against Morton.

The cost will be $25 in advance or $30 on the day of clinic and the payment will cover a t-shirt and pizza.
