Hello!

I'm Joseph Velez and a senior here at East Leyden High School.

The opportunity to be a part of the Leyden Media team is an honor itself, and I pledge to bring you the best news possible!

I play football for our very own Eagles and plan on wrestling as well.

In my future, I plan on attending either Coastal Carolina College or Illinois State to study Physical Therapy and through strenuous work, ultimately become a bone specialist.

Writing is a hobby of mine as I took a rigorous AP course last year, and this year I'll continue to improve my writing skills through feedback from readers!
