9th Annual Riot Fest
Headliners include Fall Out Boy and Blink-182.
Going on its ninth year, this weekend’s Riot Fest in Humboldt Park seems bigger than ever. The 3-day festival, whose lineup highlights groups from the world of punk, rock, and other genres, especially in the underground music scene, will certainly draw in a wide range of fans.
Riot’s lineup this year has created a lot of buzz with punk rock fans as headliners Fall Out Boy and Blink-182 have drawn a lot of the attraction for this year’s fest.
This year’s lineup includes several bands you probably listened to growing up, but with a lineup of almost 80 bands, you’re bound to find a new band to fall in love with too.
While the great music and variety of bands is Riot Fest’s biggest attraction, visitors will also be treated to a carnival which includes games and rides, along with gourmet food vendors.
While 3-day passes are sold out, there’s a limited amount of single day passes for $59.98 and 2-day passes for $104.98 at Riot Fest’s website http://riotfest.org/chicago-tickets/
From teens to people in their forties, there’s a band for everyone at Riot this year.
