Boys soccer is heading into its game this Friday against Proviso East (At West Leyden starting at 4:30). With a previous loss on their shoulders, they aren’t letting this get the best of them. Instead, spirits will be high as they get back on the field and show Proviso what they’re made of. Kristina Havran is looking for “a good game that creates an opportunity to build up team chemistry and morale.”

Players Havran and Damian Kosakowski are preparing for the game with different approaches but the same ultimate goal. Havran stated, “During practice I work hard with a positive/chill vibe to relax the team. I concentrate on the finishing drills in order to launch us forward.” Havran focuses on the technical aspect of the game while Kosakowski focuses on more of the mental aspect.

He stated, “I’ve just tried to help get the guys get mentally prepared for the game so that we can go out there and perform. I really want us to be ready from the start, so we can jump on them from the get go.”

Coming together to reach their full potential as a team. A team that, Havran and Kosakowski are both very proud to be apart of. Making sure to express the amazing chemistry shared with in this years team. Something that they haven’t experienced in past years. Always working to improve, as individuals. Doing so by building one another up as a team. With this season’s record  5-3 their dedication to the game and to one another is definitely shown.
