Blog Post #3

Charlie Zielinski, Visuals Manager

In the second chapter, I read all about violence on television and when it was first brought up and a public opinion on on television violence. Another interesting subject that was mentioned in this book was how to measure the amount of violence on television and how that number changed over the years, why it changed and how people reacted to it. The most interesting subject and the one that I think is the most important in our life now is how there is a lot of violence in video games. Most games are centered around violence and even games that people grew up in, cartoon like, “childish”, games feature a lot of aspects of violence, but no one sees that because it is covered up by the fact that there is an “E for everyone” rating on it.
