On Friday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m. the Leyden Eagles will be facing off against the Bartlett Hawks. This is round one of the Illinois High School Football Playoffs (class 8A). The game will take place at Leyden’s home field at West Leyden’s Dodgers Field.
If the Leyden Eagles come away with a win this Friday they will go on to face Evanston or Loyola Academy in round two.
Leyden has an impressive 7-2-0 record and Bartlett has a decent record at 6-3-0. So, some will say the odds are in Leyden’s favor but can’t tell for certain till this Friday.
