Picture yourself in the middle of July, outside in hot, sunny weather. You are surrounded by 20,000 people all jumping and yelling at the top of their lungs. Sounds fun right? Exactly!

This is the exciting environment that take places every summer on Vans Warped Tour! Every summer since 1995, Warped Tour has traveled around the country visiting every one of the lower 48 states showcasing over 75 bands!

This year Vans Warped Tour will be showcasing big bands such as Black Veil Brides, Attila, Asking Alexandria, and Escape the Fate. The Illinois location for Warped Tour this year is at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park. With every purchase of the ticket comes a free CD compilation of all the bands that are touring with Warped for that year. This CD is available at the end of the tour.

Another perk about going to Warped Tour is that if your parents still don’t want their baby boy or baby girl going alone to a big outdoor concert in fear of getting hurt, you can bring them in for free. In the fine lines it states that a person over 28 is allowed free entry with every purchase of a ticket. Upon arriving to the tour you have a wide variety of things to do. You can pick from any of the three to five stages, all showcasing different types bands. One of the attractions at Warped tour is acoustic basement, where select bands play their songs but only using acoustic instruments. Another fun thing about Vans Warped Tour is all the booths they have. The sponsors of Warped gather in tents or sometimes even buses and give out free stuff like snapbacks, drawstring bags, and water bottles!
