October 2 to 4 was Homecoming weekend, featuring the usual activities, but it also included the less well-known Fall Fest Parade.

The game began on a chilly night with fans wrapped up in blankets, but the varsity football team came out hot, building a 28 point lead on key touchdowns by both Mike Wilms and David DeMarais.

The Fall Fest that occurred October 4 included the football team, Poms, Cheerleaders, marching band, and the newly formed Dog Club in Franklin Park’s big parade down Grand Ave. Local business organizations  were also featured, giving fliers to open gym karate classes or gymnastics classes. Little kids from other schools come out in the parade and/or just watched it occur–and chased down free candy.
