Jasmyn Collazo is a reporter for the 2019-2020 East Leyden news. She is a senior who has a kind heart, tries to help others to the best of her ability, and has a great personality. Her post high school plans are a bit uncertain but she hopes to either start college and go to med school, or dabble in the glitz and glam of cosmetology.

Her current news media habits include searching through social media, staying up to date with the community chit chat, and keeping an eye on any upcoming events. Jasmyn enjoys topics that are based off of her interest, which include, tv shows, movies, music, and more.

This year Jasmyn hopes to drastically broaden her news diet by committing her time to look into reliable newsworthy stories, and take on new challenges that get her out of her comfort zone and encourage her to think out of the box.
