In cycle 5 I’m going to write a heavy on news. The important issue I want to cover is about the protests over the history curriculum in Colorado High School. The students started protesting because they didn’t want their AP history curriculum to be censored. The protest kept going on for weeks until the school district made adjustments to the curriculum. I want to cover this story because I want students at Leyden to know about what is going on around them as well as their rights.
