Leyden Eagles will face off against Proviso East tonight at West Leyden at 7:30 p.m. in an effort to clinch the conference title.
The Leyden Eagles are coming off a big win against Willowbrook last week where they dominated the game and won 42-0.
They are looking to defeat Proviso East tonight and become conference champs.
If Leyden wins tonight’s game they will be undefeated conference champs. The last time that happened was in 1979.
Proviso has beat Leyden 7 out of the last 10 times they’ve met.
At the moment Proviso has not won a single game this season and they’re ranked 387 in state. Leyden is ranked 61 and has lost only one game this season.
