The girls cross country team looked very strong Saturday, September 29th, at the Niles West Invite despite the fact that the girls’ top two runners, senior Danyle Segura and junior Aleksandra Kijowska did not run. Junior Angela Pyrdol stepped up and placed forty-third in the white division along with sophomore Miriam Hernandez and junior Michelle Fuentes placing fifty-first and fifty-second individually. The girls placed eleventh in the white division out of twenty teams. The girls are ready to step it up this Thursday at the Elmwood Park Invite.
