RDRII and Days Gone

Gamers were waiting for another game this fall, but the acclaimed sequel was delayed: Rockstar games announced the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 last October for the fall, but its release has been delayed to Spring 2018. Fans might have been disappointed for the release date, but the trailer surely didn’t delude their expectations, because it was simply outstanding.

Free roaming in the Old Wild West, living the life of an outlaw that makes his way through the American Frontier with the Van Der Linde gang. They’ll rob, fight and kill everything that gets on their way in order to survive.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the long-awaited follow-up to the 2010 open-world Western and fans have never been more excited.
They waited 8 years to get a sequel for one of the greatest Rockstar Games of all time and they also have been pretty demanding on new game features, such as the ability to swim, double revolvers and character personalization and it looks like the new trailer satisfies their demands.
Everybody was waiting to see a younger John Marston, protagonist of the prequel, but we saw the introduction of a new main character in the trailer: Arthur Morgan.
He looks and sounds more wicked than the old dear Mr. Marston and we know Marston was one cold blooded killer.

The trailer also shows new weaponry, such as bows and also new animals, like alligators. We see Morgan robbing trains too, something you couldn’t do in the prequel and we also see that he’s often riding with his “gang”, which can make the gamer feel less lonely, since Mr. Marston had to deal with everything by himself.
In the meantime, there’s at least something to look forward to from Rockstar: the developer is releasing updated versions of the famous detective drama “L.A Noire” in November on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and even virtual reality.

Another game lots of people have been waiting for is Days Gone, which doesn’t have a precise release date yet.

Have you ever asked yourself what happens if you mix Sons Of Anarchy and The Walking Dead? Days Gone would come out.

This third person shooter looks familiar at first, resembling Naughty Dog’s previous games, such as Uncharted or The Last of Us, but this time we see the possibility to free roam, exploring a huge map.

The protagonist is Deacon St. John, an angry biker full of regrets; he prefers to live in the dangerous outside world, staying away from community camps and safe houses and this will create one of the most thrilling gaming experiences.Taking place two years after a global pandemic civilization, turning millions into mindless infects known as ‘Freakers.’ They’re fast and unstoppable.

The narrative of Days Gone is still unclear, but we imagine it’ll involve exploring an open world in search of a cure or something. Although, the gameplay showed that Deacon wasn’t that angry before the epidemy: he had a life, a girlfriend and it seems they’ve been brought away from him.

You’ve also seen that Deacon has lots of skills: in the gameplay he has a vast weaponry and he knows many ways to kill his enemies, which aren’t only zombies. Stealthy kills, diversions and lots of guns are what are gonna help you through the game. Like in the show The Walking Dead, there are many communities and most of them aren’t kind with strangers: Deacon will also have to fight humans and sometimes they can be much worse than infects. You can also deduce that many weapon and character upgrades and customizations will be available and who knows, you can probably customize Deacon’s motorcycle too. Yes, you have a motorcycle and this will surely help the gamer escape from infinite hordes of freakers, and/or move through the gigantic map.
Sony confirmed at E3 2017 that Days Gone will be launching in the first half of 2018, although no solid date has been announced.
